The ‘Be You’ Story
I’d like to introduce you to the BE YOU logo.
Logos are one of the oldest forms of visual communication and they are a fundamental aspect of any visual identity. The intention is when you are viewing my website, or reading my blog you can connect who’s responsible for the content and are reminded to keep it real, authentic and be you!
“A logo is a graphic representation that is meant to connect with a brand, entity, or endeavor in such a way that an audience can recognize the connection effectively and consistently.
In today’s visual culture, in which images are the main form of communication, logos are the only way brands can distinguish themselves from all the noise and competition out there. Without a logo, a brand is unable to convey its identity, purpose, and nature.”
I created this logo using graphics and words so I can connect it with my writing as well. The concept of being you and leveraging the hashtag #BeYou. The graphic is depicting the infinity symbol and building the components that we as individuals might have to adjust, adapt and add to create the best versions of ourselves.
Life isn’t about finding ourselves, it’s about CREATING ourselves.
We hold our own pencils and have the power to write our own stories.
It’s all part of the story: The header image is actually of me staring up at the universe.
The sky is NOT the limit. Beyond the universe is.

My girlfriend is incredibly talented and loves Astrophotography. This was us out late at night under the Milky Way on top of a local mountain in New Hampshire experiencing shooting stars.
This depicts the ‘be you’ philosophy to a Tee.
As a nature enthusiast, always open to an adventure and wanting to make sure she gets out and enjoying her photo hobby. We packed the Jeep and took off to hike a mountain with headlamps. I got to sit back and watch her do her thing. It fills my heart. The bonus was I ended up being a subject for a few.
